Free Pass Challenge

Take time to practice Free Pass

It is so important that you know how to move your carriage without knitting or dropping stitches, it is worth the time to cast on a few stitches, knit a few rows and practice all 4 free pass methods:

1. Remove the carriage and move it to the opposite side of the bed


2. Put all needles in hold ("D") and use the hold setting (Russell Levers)


3. "Pop" the carriage


4. Hold the side lever and pass the carriage in the same direction (all needles in "B")
